Cindy Gomerdinger - CEO

Just as all attorneys are not alike, CPAs have different scopes and specialties. Typically, a CPA gets categorized as a tax or audit specialist, but some CPAs excel beyond these traditional boundaries. Cindy Gomerdinger is one such CPA. Besides traditional tax preparation and accounting, Cindy offers extensive business planning and management advisory services. Independently, we can provide services equivalent to those of a Chief Financial Officer for firms that do not have one. We also work with companies that employ a controller. One major need with companies looking to go to the next level is the ability to conduct high-level analysis, the type of analysis that can make or break a company's future. Our involvement is tailored to the client's short and long range needs, growth plans and, of course, budget. Cindy is well-suited for the challenge. She started in the auditing area, then supervised both operations and the financial department for a California based company. This gave her the well-rounded experience necessary to recommend strategies that would serve the best overall long-term needs of the company. Cindy's background, coupled with a comprehensive network of colleagues in banking, law, insurance and management consulting, affords clients the opportunity to get exactly what they need, when they need it. The scope of services available is able to scale with growing client requirements. Cindy also communicates her company's limitations. If a company's needs go beyond our core competencies, we will advise them of more suitable alternatives. We would rather make a long-term friend than a short-term sale. Hanna Butler - Senior CPA

Hanna graduated from NC State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and UNC-Charlotte in 2015 with a Master of Science in Accounting. After graduating and obtaining her CPA license she worked in public for 3 years, followed by a nonprofit organization in North Carolina for 2 years. Hanna found her home at Gomerdinger & Associates in October of 2021. She is a remote employee living in North Carolina with her husband and three boys.

Jennice Ormsbee - Senior Accountant

Jennice graduated from Metro State University of Denver in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. After graduation, she started her career in a CPA firm. When the initial CPA firm dissolved, she came to Gomerdinger & Associates in January 2016. Jennice left full-time in April 2019 - November 2022 to work for a prior client but assisted Gomerdinger & Associates occasionally. She returned full-time to Gomerdinger & Associates in November 2022. She brings various experience with tax, bookkeeping and payroll.

David Ortiz - Staff Accountant

Luke Bitner - CPA Manager

Luke graduated from Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. While pursing his degree, he interned with Gomerdinger & Associates in 2016. Luke also worked as a bookkeeper and a tax preparer for the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program prior to graduating in 2018. He is excited to be back as an integral part of the G&A Team!

McKenna Wright - CPA Manager

McKenna has come to Gomerdinger and Associates with over 14 years of experience. In addition to public accounting, she has also worked in non-profits and family offices. Her experiences have exposed her to different types of clients and industries with varying tax and accounting issues. She enjoys working with small businesses and their owners. In her free time McKenna enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, traveling and going to the mountains.

Marlena McElhaney - Office Manager

Marlena graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2002 with a degree in English and a license in Secondary Education. After three years of experience teaching in public schools, she sought a new career path, and has found a home with Gomerdinger & Associates since February 2008. Marlena brings several prior years of administrative experience to the firm, including eight years in small business development and support.

Tracey Eatherton - Administrative Assistant

Tracey has worked in a variety of office settings as Administrative Support. She worked in the Human Resources Department at Douglas County School District until her first child was born. After staying at home with three children for 20 plus years it was time to get back into the working world. Tracey has been with Gomerdinger & Associates since February 2019.

Lily Vyas - Administrative Assistant

Lily graduated from Murray State University with Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in accounting. After graduating, she worked in a CPA Firm of Mayfield, Kentucky till she moved to Denver in 2003. In Denver she started working in accounting field on contract basis. After settling in her new home, she worked in health care industry and after that for a non-profit organization till October 2022.
