Our Team
Jay L. Nathan CPA
Jay L. Nathan, CPA, MBA, Vice President of The Chwast CPA Group, P.C. has been providing accounting services for over 25 years and financial advisory services for more than 10 years. Jay received his Bachelors of Business Administration from Bernard M. Baruch College, CUNY and subsequently received his Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in taxation from Hofstra University. He specializes in businesses that are closely held. His focus is on the financial services arena, which includes investing and utilizing insurance to protect income and wealth, while looking ahead at health care costs and the transfer of wealth to future generations. Jay is on the Board of the Long Island Charities Foundation, Inc. and a member and past President of the Syosset-Woodbury Rotary Club. Jay's hobbies include golf and various recreational sports. He resides in Plainview, New York with his wife and children.
William A. Frumkin CPA
Bill started his accounting career in 1963 in private accounting working for a multinational company. He reached the level of division controller. After switching to public accounting in 1970 he found a firm which piqued his interest. In 1981 he became a shareholder of the firm. That firm grew through three mergers into The Chwast CPA Group, P.C. Bill has developed expertise in the areas of real estate developers, construction contractors, wholesalers, retailers, and manufacturers, medical and legal fields. Additionally, he specializes in business consulting with small businesses and individuals. He is a member of the following professional associations: Bill is or has participated in various committees as follows: His outside acitivities include the following: Bill received a BA from Queens College of the City University of New York, and has also completed graduate courses at Baruch College of the City University of New York.
