Julie Knox

My name is Julie Knox. I am the Administrative Assistant at Minert & Associates. With Tony’s training and guidance, as well as my past experience, I have been able to grow with the company by implementing several of his ideas and some of my own along the way.

My purpose in life is to “Do what others don’t do, won’t do, or can’t do.” I feel like I’m in the right place. Whether it’s answering the phones, updating the website, or scanning documents, I have an opportunity to fulfill my purpose here. I’m actually been given the opportunity to fulfill a childhood dream – that of being a secretary. I enjoy the relationships I’ve developed over the years with our clients and the freedom Tony has given me to go above and beyond what he asks of me. My favorite saying is “If you like what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” Even during tax season, as stressful as it is, I still enjoy coming to work every day.

I have been married to my Godly husband, Willie, for twenty-three years. I describe him that way, because he’s an awesome man that is driven to get closer to God. We have a combined total of six children that we love dearly: Christopher, Corey, Willie Jr., Zac, our beautiful daughter, Savana, and Ivan. Some have compared us to the Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda movie from a few years back called ‘His, Mine and Ours,’ only we’ve added to it. Our title would be “His, Mine, Ours, and a few others too.”

In the past, we’ve fostered several children and have adopted three. I have one beautiful Daughter-in-law, Tarina, and a beautiful granddaughter, Alexis. She was born the day after tax day, 2012. That was the BEST tax season ever!

I have attended Grace Church in Broken Arrow for nineteen years, and am an unapologetic Disciple of Christ.
