Tony Minert CPA

My name is Tony Minert and I am the founder of Minert & Associates. I moved from Northern California in the summer of 1988 to Tulsa Oklahoma to attend Oral Roberts University. I graduated in 1992 with a degree in Accounting, and immediately began studying for my CPA license. Upon graduating from college, I took a job with a telecommunications company. I liked what I was doing, because I have always liked crunching numbers and using my analytical skills; however, during a workshop in 2000 I discovered my purpose in life: Relieving Financial Stress.

My last day in the corporate world was August 31st, 2001, just days before 9/11. I don’t know whose stress I was planning on relieving, but it wasn’t mine. I thought, “God what have you gotten me into?!” I had no clients, and America’s future was uncertain.

I look back and wonder how I did it. It was only by the grace of God we made it. I went from having a really good paying job to just barely being able to pay the mortgage.

I have been married for fifteen years to Stephanie. We have one daughter, Jessica, who is eight. She is a lot of fun, and I am blessed to have both of them in my life. Stephanie and I made a lot of sacrifices those first few years as I built my practice, but I have to say it was worth every sacrifice we made. My life is so much more enriched because I am able to live out my purpose of Relieving Financial Stress on a daily basis.

What I love most about this job is being able to meet with people and see the relief they have after talking to me about their tax situation, their business or their personal finances. I can see God working through me to Relieve Financial Stress and it is more satisfying than anything else I have ever done. We have a great staff whose desire is to help you feel less stressed when it comes to your business and personal finances.

One of the things I love most about our company is our commitment to strong, family values. You can feel it when you walk through our doors, and we live it when we walk out the doors. Family is one of our core values at Minert and Associates.

I truly feel working with my clients isn’t a job, because I love what I do. In fact, it gives me the opportunity to fulfill my purpose in life. I have been blessed with many awesome clients, and I look forward to working with them, and possibly you too, for years to come, as together we Relieve Your Financial Stress.
