Past:

Lawrence Cumpston & Associates, PLLP has become a reputable firm known for quality and integrity.  Larry Cumpston, the founder, continues to represent individuals and businesses and has been a practicing CPA since 1970.  Larry graduated from Drake University in 1966 with an accounting degree and worked for Grant Thorton while subsequently working as the financial vice president for a Twin Cities transportation company.  Larry, along with his wife Lisa, founded the firm in 1983 bringing years of experience in a broad range of services to an array of industries.  Gary Carlson began working for the firm in 1984 and became a partner in 1996. 

Present: 

Lawrence Cumpston & Associates, PLLP has become a leading trusted advisor in the transportation industry.  We have developed knowledge of the industry and have guided many long-time clients in the succession of their family owned business.  In 2014, Matt Anderson, Gina Schneider, Clint Heaser, Jeffrey Kuntz, and Suzanne Johnson joined the partnership.  They look toward the continued success that Larry, Lisa and Gary have created within the firm.  Our commitment to providing the highest level in security, services and technology has helped to establish the trusted advisor relationship with our clients.  Let us develop the trusted advisor relationship with you and your business!
